Tiko Merus
Tiko Merus was originally a firefighter from Sydney. Graham recruited him into the team when he spotted Tiko in action. Graham and Glen happened to be on the scene investigating a disturbance when the Sydney Firefighters were taking on a blazing inferno. Tiko had a child clinging to his back, and he was stuck on the third floor. Graham could see Tiko clearly as the wall had been destroyed. He could see Tiko working out what was coming next. He was measuring up in his mind the distance from here to there, what ifs, everything. Tiko told the child to hold on, as tight as he could. And keep their eyes shut tight. Tiko backed up and started to sprint towards one of the fire damaged walls. He should barged the wall, going straight though it with no problem at all. He launched across between the two buildings and smashed though the window of the neighboring building. Graham was extremely impressed with Tiko’s bravery and skill.
Tiko is always looking for new challenges, so accepting Grahams invitation wasn’t a problem in the least. He never let the firefighting go, often returning when he has the opportunity. Tiko was born in New Zealand. His parents moved to Australia when he was too young to remember, so this was his home. His parents were killed in a house fire when he was 12. Leaving him to raise his sister, Rachel. Since the tragic death of this parents Tiko made it his mission in life to help people. In any way he could. Since he started Ghostbusting with Markus and Graham, he has started study in the paranormal. He has a secret hope to talk to his parents once more.
